It is a pleasure to have you participate in Air Community, a free space for conversation on Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (“HVAC”) industry topics and open innovation.

Air Community has been created without any commercial purposes, seeking to promote the exchange of ideas, knowledge and the creation of valuable connections.

By participating in the Air Community, either by attending in-person events, viewing and accessing digital content (such as website, social media and/or blog) and/or subscribing to email lists, you agree to adhere to the following general membership guidelines for Air Community participants (hereinafter the “Guidelines”):

1. Dignified and respectful treatment of all Air Community members. For all Air Community participants, dignified and respectful treatment is the basis of the relationships that are established within this space. For this reason, no kind of treatment outside the highest standards of ethics and socially accepted conduct will be allowed, including, in case of non-compliance, being expelled and banned from the spaces, programs and activities organized in Air Community. The foregoing, without prejudice to any legal action that may be taken.
2. Participation of Daikin. Daikin Airconditionioning México, S. de R.L. de C.V. (“Daikin”) is the creator, organizer, administrator and owner of Air Community, with all the content that conforms it, without any commercial purpose. Notwithstanding the foregoing, your participation in the Air Community does not create any relationship between you and Daikin, including any employment or corporate relationship. You may not hold yourself out as a legal representative, agent, employee and/or representative of Daikin and, should you engage in any such conduct, it shall be grounds for Daikin to take any and all legal action to which it may be entitled.
3. No promotion. Air Community is a space for all those people who are directly or indirectly related and/or interested in the HVAC industry, however, given the non-commercial purposes of Air Community, it is strictly forbidden for any member to make any promotion of brands, products, technologies, inventions and in general of any legal entity, as well as their rights. Air Community members will attend at all times on their own behalf and never on behalf of any company, whether or not related to the HVAC industry.
4. Shared information. Daikin shall not be responsible under any circumstances for the information provided by and between the members of Air Community, so each of them shall be responsible for knowing, observing and fulfilling the confidentiality obligations to which they are subject, either by their employment and / or business relationships and under applicable law.
5. Competition. Air Community participants acknowledge and guarantee that they are fully aware of the laws in force in the United Mexican States regarding economic competition, and therefore agree and undertake to comply with them at all times and, therefore, by way of example, but not limited to, undertake not to take any competitive advantage based on the information to which they have access in Air Community.
6. Reservation of topics for conversation. Daikin reserves at all times the right to prohibit, in order to avoid possible breaches, either legal or to these Guidelines, or vices in the purposes of Air Community, the establishment of talks on certain topics, including, without limitation, attacks on the freedom and integrity of persons, advocacy of illegal conduct, exchange of information in violation of the provisions on confidentiality and access to information, trade secrets, industrial, tax, among others. In case the participant does not immediately cease the corresponding conversation, it will be sufficient reason to be expelled and banned from Air Community.
7. Processing of Personal Data. As a participant of Air Community, Daikin may process your personal data in strict compliance with the legal provisions in force. You may consult and declare that you are aware of the terms of Daikin’s comprehensive privacy notice, which is available for consultation at any time on the website https://daikin.com.mx/daikin-content/Aviso_de_privacidad.pdf.
8. Image use authorization. In the event of attending events, the undersigned, for the purposes of Articles 27, 86, 87 and 88 of the Federal Copyright Law, authorizes Daikin, as owner of Air Community, to carry out the use, reproduction and distribution in Mexico and/or abroad, including any printed, digital or any other type of media, of photographs, images or video recordings that include my image in campaigns, promotional and other support and educational material that is considered relevant for the dissemination and promotion of Air Community exclusively. Therefore, you may use, reproduce, transmit, retransmit, publicly display and/or create derivative works of such image, in any projections, videos, graphics, texts and any supplementary material required in such promotions or campaigns, with the understanding that my image will be used exclusively for the aforementioned purposes. In that sense, I authorize the use of my name and any commentary I may have made while the video was being recorded and that such commentary be edited for the purposes indicated. The aforementioned authorization does not include the use of the name or any other personal data associated with the image that is the object of this authorization. Likewise, by signing this document, you waive any right to inspect or approve any material in which the image that is the subject of this authorization is used. This authorization is granted free of charge and the use of the image may be carried out by Daikin, as owner of Air Community, for as long as it deems appropriate and until this authorization is expressly revoked in writing by the undersigned.
