Alan Cano

Alan Cano is an economist, financier and investor. He is currently a Partner at Bluebox Ventures and a Principal at View Capital. At Bluebox Ventures, he has played key roles in finance, consulting and portfolio management focused on Venture Capital. At View Capital, he managed a significant portion of the investment execution of the first fund and was involved in structuring, capital raising and various roles in the second fund, working with over 50 investors. Alan has extensive experience in early stage venture investment processes, portfolio management and financial strategy for small and medium sized companies. Academically, he holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) (excellence scholarship), a master's degree in Corporate Law from UDLAP, and complementary studies in M&A at Stanford and languages at South University of New York (SUNY). Together with his partners and investors, Alan seeks to make a positive impact and firmly believes that entrepreneurs are changing the world.
