If you’ve been part of the community for a while (and if you haven’t, I’ll tell you) you’ll know that Air Community is the platform where we can talk about innovation in the HVAC industry. The topics covered, believe it or not, are many. From the most obvious things to relate such as entrepreneurship, startups, artificial intelligence, etc… going through things that perhaps not everyone can think of such as air quality and ending with sustainability and social responsibility issues, and with a whole range of possibilities in between. Our mission is to transform the HVAC industry through innovation, disrupting it and making it more sustainable, friendly and accessible. But as you can imagine, it’s not an easy challenge. Two years later, we are in the third phase of this incredible project from which we have learned countless things, so let me tell you a little about what happened in the first phases and what is coming for the third. But, first of all, why phases? As Air Community is an innovative project that has no precedent in Latin America, we decided to carry out three phases to mark milestones that will allow us to evaluate the lessons learned from this initiative and make adjustments if necessary. The first phase was the creation of the community, where there were exclusively face-to-face events, which were promoted through LinkedIn and Facebook. Here, we realized that there was a very good acceptance of the people towards the community but that we needed a way to keep in touch with them and exchange ideas on a constant basis. So in the second phase we went digital. Although we kept the face-to-face events as we saw how successful they were, we added a digital universe to our community. We created the podcast with the name of the events of the first phase “Pláticas a todo Pulmón”, created a website to function as a hub, added a blog and began to generate valuable information on our social networks, to which we added Instagram. Our community grew a lot in this second phase, but it is not enough. We knew there were brilliant minds in the rest of the region that we were not being able to access, so we said… We’re going to Brazil and Colombia! Therefore, for this third phase, we will have face-to-face events in two of the leading countries in innovation in the region. So, if you live in Brazil or Colombia and you are an entrepreneur, have an interest in innovative projects, and want to help reduce the environmental impact of our industry, keep an eye on our social networks to find out when and where our next events will be held. And if you don’t live in these countries, but want to see Air Community in your country, don’t worry, you’re next! Contact us and tell us why you would like Air Community to come to your country and let’s exchange ideas on how to grow this community and be the engine of change to improve the HVAC industry.
